He was buried in his own burying ground, the Friends' records declare.
1723, Nov. 16. His daughter Susanna in will of this ilate (proved 1724, Feb. 10), mentions brother Gideon and wife, sisters Patience Anthony, Mary Brayton. Mercy Coggeshall, Comfort Cogershall, Sarah Wanton and Martha Cornell ; also sister Sarah Wanton's three daughters iniz: Elizabeth Borden, Sarah Wanton, Mary Wanton), sister Ann Durfee's seven daughters iriz: Ann Estes, Sarah Dennis, Patience, Mary, Martha, Susannah anil Elizabeth Durfee): sister Martha Cornell's danghter (viz: Susannah Bennett), sister Patience Anthony's two daughters (viz: Abigail and Sassonah Anthony). She further mentions cousin (i. e. nephew) David Anthony, and cousias (nieces) Susannah and Elizabeth Freeborn and Sarab Freeborn. To Susannah Dow. named for my sake, a silver spoon. To the woman's Meeting of Friends, called Quakers, £6, &c.
