Article 31. Voted to instruct the Board of Selectmen to petition the Boston Edison Company to install street lights on poles No. 5 and 22 on Bridge Street; the cost of said lights to be taken from the Street Light- ing Account under Article 3.
Article 32. Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,000.00 to defray the cost of taking the State Census in the Town of Medfield as of January 1, 1965.
Article 33. Voted to adopt the following resolution:
WHEREAS the General Court sitting as a Constitutional Convention, did on July 16, 1963, gave initial approval to a Home Rule amendment to the State Constitution, and
WHEREAS this bill of rights for local governments requires a sec- ond approval by the members of the General Court during this legislative session, and
WHEREAS we, as members of this Town Meeting, feel competent to handle the affairs of our town without strict supervision by the Common- wealth of our every act and deed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this town meeting here- by instructs its representatives to the General Court to vote in favor of the Home Rule proposal (H 1384 of 1963 as revised) when it comes before them.
Article 34. Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of $900.00 for the purpose of providing recreation for the physically and mentally handi- capped.
Article 35. Voted to dismiss this article wherein it was suggested to abolish the annual Citizen's Caucus.

Voted to authorize the Park Commission to disburse from its annual appropriation, miscellaneous sums of money for entrance fees, the purchase of prizes and awards and the like, in connection with the participation of groups sponsored by the Park Commission in meets, contests and competitions both within and without the confines of the Town of Medfield.
Article 51. Voted to dismiss this article wherein a sum of money was asked for the development and maintenance of the Little League playing area located at Metacomet Field.
Article 52. Voted that this article be dismissed wherein purchase of land and buildings at 4 Pleasant Street for Library purposes was sug- gested.

In the name of the Commonwealth you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Medfield, qualified to vote in elec- tions and in town affairs, to meet at the Amos Clark Kingsbury School in said Medfield on Monday, the eighth day of March A.D. 1965 at 8:30 P.M. then and there to act on the following articles:
Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire in the name and behalf of the Town of Medfield, for water supply purposes, by purchase, taking by eminent domain or other- wise, the title in fee simple to the following described land situated in said Medfield and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the boundary line between Medfield and Walpole at the base line of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Rail- road, thence the line runs Northerly along said boundary line between Medfield and Walpole a distance of One Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty (1550) feet to a point; thence turning the line runs Northwesterly a distance of Two Thousand and Fifty (2050) feet to a point; thence turn- ing the line runs Southwesterly across land of the New York, New Haven. and Hartford Railroad a distance of One Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty (1550) feet, to a point; thence turning the line runs Southeasterly in a line parallel with the line second above mentioned a distance of

Three Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty (3150) feet to a point in the boundary line between Medfield and Walpole; thence turning the line runs Northerly along boundary line between Medfield and Walpole a dis- tance of Four Hundred (400) feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, excepting herefrom such portions of said described premises as belong to the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad Company; and to see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate, transfer and/or borrow for the purpose of acquiring the same or paying damages for the taking thereof, or do or act anything in rela- tion thereto.

Article 2. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, transfer and/or borrow for the purposes of drilling a water supply well and for testing the same and to be located on the premises described in the previous Article, or do or act anything in relation thereto.

Article 3. To see what sums of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, transfer, and/or borrow for the purpose of defraying en- gineering, appraisal and legal expenses in connection with acquisition of the land described in Article 1 above, or do or act anything in relation thereto.

Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from unexpended balances a sum of money for the purpose of purchasing a Used Aerial Ladder Truck for the Fire Department, or do or act anything in relation thereto.
