WARRANT FOR ANNUAL TOWN MEETING


COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS


Norfolk, ss.


To either of the Constables of the Town of Medfield, in said County, greetings:


In the name of the Commonwealth you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Medfield, qualified to vote in elec- tions and in town affairs to meet at the Memorial School, in said Medfield on Monday, the seventh day of March A.D. 1966, at 12:00 Noon then and there to act on the following articles:


ARTICLE 1. To choose all Town Officers required to be elected annually by ballot, viz:


One Moderator, One Town Clerk, all for one year.


One Member of the Board of Public Welfare, for two years.


One Treasurer, One Selectman, One Assessor, Two Trustees of the Public Library, Two Members of the School Committee, One Member of the Board of Health, One Cemetery Commis- sioner, One Member of the Water and Sewerage Board, One Member of the Park Commission, One Member of the Board of Public Welfare, all for three years.


One Member of the Planning Board for five years.


The Polls will be opened at 12:00 Noon and shall be closed at 8:00 o'clock, P.M.


On Monday, the fourteenth day of March A.D. 1966 commencing at 7:30 P.M., the following articles will be acted on at the Amos Clark Kingsbury School Gymnasium in said Medfield, viz:


ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to accept the reports of the several Town Officers for the past year.


ARTICLE 3. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate and/or transfer such sums of money as may be necessary to defray the following departmental and other expenses of the Town for the ensuing year, and to fix the salary and compensation of all elected officers of the Town as provided for in Section 108, Chapter 41 of the General Laws.

ARTICLE 4. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1966, and to issue a note or notes therefor payable within one year and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Chapter 44, Section 17, General Laws.
