Article 30. Voted that this article be dismissed wherein a sum of money was sought for the extension of the public sewer system from Dale Street northerly for a distance of about 1100 feet.
Article 31. Voted to authorize the Water and Sewerage Board to appoint one of its members as Water Superintendent.
Article 32. Voted to establish a Park Commission consisting of three members to be elected for a term of one, two and three years

The Ballot Box had been previously checked and found in good working order and specimen ballots and instructions to voters were posted at the entrance and within the polling place. The following persons were sworn in as elections officials and assigned their duties as follows:

September 13, 1960
Pursuant to the foregoing warrant the meeting was opened at 6:00 A.M. and after reading the warrant the polls were declared open. In compliance with the recently enacted Chapter 431 of the General Laws the following persons were appointed by the Selectmen as Election Officers and sworn in and assigned to their duties by the Town Clerk:

Keirstead, Clerk; Marie Burke, Deputy Clerk; Mary Mair Etienne, Inspector; Alice Ripley, Deputy Inspector; Anne Young, Inspector; Anne Donlan, Deputy Inspector. Tellers were Beatrice Bangs, Charlotte Randolph, Marie Burke, Viola Burr, Florence Roberts, Alice Hogan, Mary Hazel, Mary Mair Etienne, Letitia McEleney, Thomas Clancy, Phyllis Ganley and Mildred Rossi. Said officers were equally enrolled voters of the two major parties.
