Mrs. Fogg is a lineal descendant of Robert Drake, who settled in Hampton in 1651, and of Col. Abraham Drake, an officer in the Rev- olutionary war. The homestead of one hundred fifty years, on Drake's hill, in North Hampton, still remains in the Drake family, her brother, Joshua P. Drake, having recently taken down the old house and built anew.
Mr. and Mrs. Fogg are members of the Congregational church in Hampton, and both are lineal descendants of Rev. Stephen Bachiler, the founder of the town.

FULLER.
I. WILLIAM FULLER, "planter and smith" [p. 17], entered pas- senger from England in the "Abigail," Richard Hackwell, master, May 4, 1635-aged twenty-five years. At the same time, John Ful- ler, fifteen years. William was in Ipswich, 1637 ; admitted freeman, 1641. His house-lot of ten acres in Hampton, granted June, 1640, was situated on the road from the Meeting-house Green to the Land- ing. Other grants and purchases make a total of forty-nine acres, recorded as owned by him, together with three shares in the commons, granted in 1645. He was a selectman in 1644 and eight subsequent years ; was representative in 1667. He died May 26, 1693. His wife, "ould goodwife Fuller," died Dec. 14, 1699, aged "above 80." They probably had no children.
Goodman Fuller's will, dated Mar. 18, 1691, mentions his "consin, Josiah Moulton, son of Henry Moulton, of Hampton, and Elizabeth, wife of said Josiah, they being as son and daughter to me and my wife." Other legatees were : Elizabeth, now wife of Daniel Dow ; Mary Foy, yt was ye Danghter of Sam1 Foy, of Hampton -decd. ; Martha Marston, now wife of John Marston, Sent, of Andover ; church in Hampton, my Pewter Flagon. Josiah Moulton, executor.
II. GILES FULLER was one of the "young men who received house- lots" at the settlement of the town. His relationship to the other Fullers of Hampton is not known. His house-lot was the present homestead of Ebenezer W. Lane, and extended northerly to the swamp, still ealled, probably after him, Giles' swamp. Later, he owned another lot, on the Exeter road, between lots of William Godfrey and Abraham Drake. He was probably married about 1650,

for then a seat was assigned to him in the meeting-house, "for a wife." He died "suddenly, in his own house," Apr. 6, 1676.
The following registry of emigration is found : "Susanna Thurton (alias Fuller) daughter of Rodger Fuller, late of Topcraft in ye Co : of Nor. & Sister of Giles Fuller, late of Hampton in N. E., decd (no other son or dan.) That Tho. Th. of the parish of St. Buttolphs, Bishopgate, Tobacconist-now to go to New England in ship Mary & Sarah (John Foye Mr.) son of Tho : Th. of Croydon & Susanna his wife. London, Apr. 5, 1677."
In a list of church members in full communion, Sept., 1671, is Frances Fuller. As the name has not the prefix "Goody," she was probably unmarried and may have been a daughter of Giles Fuller.
III. JOHN FULLER. A plausible supposition is that he was a son of Giles (2) and lived on the latter's lot, next a lot owned by William Godfrey, and perhaps occupied by Godfrey's son, John. This would make Jolin Godfrey and John Fuller near neighbors; and Fuller's wife, Rachel, would naturally "come in at the back door," as stated in the witchcraft deposition (p. 85). John Fuller married Mar. 19, 1677, Rachel Brabrick, probably danghter of John (1). He is sup- posed to have died in 1719. Children :
John, b. Jan. 12, 1678 ; d. Jan. 19, 1715.
Benoni, prob. twin to John, d. Feb. 25, 1761, "æ. 83." He lived near Joseph L. Marston's, in No. H.

IV. WILLIAM FULLER, "JUNIOR," son of -- , married June 29, 1680, widow Susanna Buswell, daughter of Isaac Perkins (2) ; had a daughter Abigail, born in Ipswich, Mar. 10, 1690.
V. JAMES FULLER, son of John (3), married Mary -. He was probably the James Fuller who lived in that part of the town annexed to Rye (p. 193). Children :
James, b. Dec. 2, 1704. John, b. Mar. 4, 1711. Mary, b. Ang. 17. 1713.
