Sent to Interlaken School, Rolling Prairie, Ind., and received training as a general mechanic. Taken ill, and sent to La Porte, Ind., where operation was performed and where he died November 1, 1918. Buried in Upper Indiana Cemetery, four miles from Vincennes, on Bruceville road.
