PERRIN FAMILY.
1. ASA [5] PERRIN (Nathaniel [4], Samuel [3], John [2], John [1]), b. 1733, Woodstock, Conn., prob .; d. June, 1816, Roy .; m. Olive Bellows, b. 1737; d. Sep. 17, 1815, Roy .; both bur. in Perrin Burial Lot, No. 1. Mr. Perrin had the commend- able habit of keeping a diary. Under date of Mar. 10, 1783, he wrote that Nathaniel, Asa, and Greenfield, "Sat out for Royalton." Nathaniel of Woodstock (Conn. prob.) had bought 10 T. P. in the preceding October, but seems not to have come to Royalton to take possession until 1783. Asa, Jr., witnessed a deed which evidently was made out in Royalton the day before this deed was given to Nathaniel. In Nov., 1785, Nathaniel sold to his father 40 acres of his farm, which Asa, Sen., and Olive sold to Nathaniel in 1792. Mr. Perrin was a Revolutionary sol- dier, and was at the surrender of Burgoyne in 1777.
