GARRETT. Is a thrifty town of 1,500 inhabitants, located on the B & O R R, in Keyser township, DeKalb county, 5 miles west of Auburn, the county seat and banking town. This is comparatively a new place, it was platted in 1875 and in 1876 was incorporated a town. The B & O R R Co has repair shops here employing some 500 hands.
