FARMER KILLED BY HIS TENANT


Dispute Over Possession of Farm Leads to Slaying in Douglas County.


Edison Shapley. 45-year-old wid; ower, who formerly resided near 81- Joam Springs In Howell county. 16 miles west of West Plaine, was shot and instantly killed yesterday by John Moore, a former tenant, at a farm house one and one-half miles west of Blloam Springs, Just over the line in Douglas county Moore was - - arrested by Constable Crof Hicks of Douglas county and taken to the : jail at Ava.
