THIRTY EIGHT DECREESON DIVORCE GRANTED BY KIRBY

Thirty-sight detiult divorce decries were granted this morning in division two of the circuit court. Judge Quy D. Kirby provided at the bearings, as Judge Warren L. White was unable to call the divorce docket in his division due to Illness. Judge Kirby granted 17 default decrees yesterday to di- vision one, making a total of 85 de- creoa granted by him in two days. which, according to court attacbes, ! surpasses the records of all other, Greene county circuit judges.

The courtroom wu amain crowded to capacity when court convened at 9 o'clock. although the docket this morning's call was lighter than rasterday's docket. . . They were -- 72 cases on the division two divorce docket, all of which were called th's morning, and Judge Kirby also heard ! three divorce actions that were left! over yesterday from division one. ' There were twenty-nine cases con -: tinued this morning and eight ac- ! tions were dismissed. . Judge Kirby did not designate any re-setting dates, leaving this to the discretion of Judge White. when he returns to the bench. -
