SIZE AND CONSTRUCTION OF CHUTE,

W E make chutes in two sizes, one is 18 inches in diameter and 36 inches long for residence, and one 26 inches in diameter and 36 inches long for larger buildings. The body is made of heavy sheet steel, well riv- eted, the cover and ring are cast iron, correctly proportioned for strength and beauty. This construction makes a strong, neat job, as well as being light and easily handled. The outside cover is locked by a steel hook which is made and fastens in such a way that the hook can be easily un- hooked from the inner end of the chute, and at the same time cannot be shaken to unlock from outside. Besides this we furnish another cover for the inner end of chute. This cover helps keep out the cold and makes chute absolutely burglar. proof.

REASONS WHY THIS CHUTE SHOULD BE USED.

I T does away with the many ob- jections of throwing your wood and coal in through a window or door. You all know how un- pleasant and how slow it is to open a window frozen with sleet and ice, or one that is swollen or warped, to say noth- ing of how many window lights are broken by your wood and coal man. How many beautiful homes one sees with the window sash and house all battered up and black. Our coal chute does away with this.

The body of chute, being smooth, allows fuel to slide down easily.

The chute looks neat and needs no care nor cleaning.
