In action in the Metz Of- fensive. Was at Toul Aerdrome, Toul, France, when the Armistice was signed. After the signing of the Armistice, Lieutenant Crafton wrote and produced "Happy Landings", the Second Army Air Service Show, which from December, 1918, until April, 1919, toured France, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany. GROVER CLEVELAND CRAIL


Sapper, 69th W. E. Company, Engineering Corps, Canadian Army. Born in 1896. Address, 71512 East Washington street, Springfield. Entered service in the spring of 1917, with Company C, 124th Machine Gun Battalion, Thirty-third Division. Received training in Camp Logan, Texas, for two months, and received an Honorable Discharge on account of physical ailment. Joined Canadian Forces in March, 1918. Sailed overseas in June, 1918, and trained in England for one month. Was in active service in France. Discharged May 17, 1919.

Was stationed on the U. S. S. Huntington and on the George Washington when President Wilson made his two trips overseas. Was in France when the Armistice was signed. Discharged July 3, 1919, at Great Lakes.

Received his training at Rahe's Auto School, Kansas City, Missouri; Fort Leaven- worth, Kansas, and Camp Franklin. Was at the latter camp when the Armistice was signed. Discharged January 17, 1919, at Camp Grant.

Entered service May 20, 1918, in Spring- field. Received his training at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indiana ; Ft. Doug- las, Utah, and Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Was at Ft. Douglas when the Armistice was signed. Discharged December 18, 1918.


LOUIS DALPIAZ


Sergeant, Mallet Reserve, Motor Truck Division, U. S. A. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dalpiaz, 505 South Glenwood avenue, Springfield. Born April 15, 1892, in Williamsville. Entered service in April, 1917, in Springfield. Received his training at Camp Custer, Battle Creek, Michi- gan. Sailed overseas February 28, 1918. In action in the Somme, Aisne, Chemin de Darnes, Rheims Montdidier, Noyon, Campaigne-Marne, Aisne-Marne, Oise-Aisne. Wounded in arm. Was in St. Quentin, France, when the Armistice was signed. Discharged June 27, 1919.

Entered service July 5, 1918, at Springfield. Re- ceived his training at Paris Island, S. C., and Quantico, Va. Was in Baltimore, Md., when the Armistice was signed. Discharged January 30, 1919, at Quantico, Va.

Was in Hartford when the Armistice was signed. Discharged at Hartford, Conn., in January, 1919.


CHARLES O. DANIELSON


Corporal, Ordnance Department, Second Provisional Regiment, United States Army. Son of Christian Danielson, 1341 North Third street, Springfield. Born March 21, 1888, in Springfield. Entered service May 17, 1918, in Springfield. Received his training at Camp Hancock, Ga., and Camp Humphreys, Va. Sailed overseas August 1, 1918. Was at Ordnance Depot No. 1 when the Armistice was signed. Discharged April 15, 1919, at Camp Mills, N. Y.
