Received his training at Camp Dix, N. J. and Fernall; France. Sailed overseas May 19, 1918. In action in St. Mihiel Sector. Wounded in action and was sent to Casual Camp St. Aguan. France. Was in Hospital Chatel Geyon, France, when the Armistice was signed. Discharged at Camp Grant, Ill., February 8, 1919.
DAVID O. DODD
Corporal, Company F, 18th Infantry, U. S. A. Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Dodd, Loami, Ill. Born December 5, 1895. Entered service April 6, 1917, at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Sent to Camp Jones, Douglas, Ariz. and assigned to the 18th Infantry, First Brigade. Sailed overseas June 10, 1917, on the Finland. Went into action October 20, 1917, near Nancy and Luneville. Was wounded three times. First, May 2, 1918, in Front of Cantigny; second, near Soissons, in the Second Battle of the Marne; third, in the Argonne Woods, October 9, 1918. Was in the hospital from that date until he sailed for the United States on January 12, 1919. Dis- charged February 8, 1919, at Camp Grant, Ill.

Private, Battery A, 81st Field Artillery, U. S. A. Son of P. A. and Elvira J. Dodge, Loami, Ill. Born September 11, 1890, in Loami, Ill. Entered service May 28, 1918, in Springfield, Ill. Sent to Camp Shelby, Miss. and assigned to Battery F, 139th Field Artillery. Started for Camp Upton, L. I., to go overseas, and took sick with influenza. After recovering was put in overseas casuals and sent to Camp Merritt, N. J. Transferred to Battery A, 81st Field Artillery. Sailed overseas November 2, 1918. Was at Pontanezen Barracks when the Armistice was signed. Discharged at Camp Knox, Ky., February 18, 1919.
