Assigned to Camp Grant, Ill., August 24, 1917, as instructor in Garrison and Field Cooking. Transferred to Mobile Veterinary Section, 86th Division, for overseas duty June 4, 1918. Sailed September 17, 1918. Returned to United States in June, 1919, and assigned to Veterinary Detachment, Auxiliary Remount Depot 321, July 4, 1919. Discharged and re-enlisted August 5, 1919.
