On return to Thirty-third Division was assigned to a theatrical troop which toured France, playing at Paris, Nice, Monte Carlo, Cannes and principal cities. Returned to United States with his Division, and discharged June 30, 1919, at Camp Grant. Later appointed member U. S. Military Officers' Reserve Corps.

Received his training at United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., graduating in March, 1917, by order of Pres- ident Wilson. Entered service in April, 1917. Served as lieutenant on board U. S. S. Minnesota. Ordered to foreign waters September 30, 1918, as chief engineer on U. S. S. Destroyer Warrington. Was in Brest, France, when the Armistice was signed.


HERSCHEL K. WARRICK


Corporal, Headquarters Company, 124th Field Artillery, Thirty-third Division, U. S. A. Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. K. Warrick, Springfield, Ill. Born January 2, 1893, in Griggsville, Ill. Entered service May 31, 1917, in Springfield, Ill. Received his training at Camp Lowden, Ill. and Camp Logan, Houston, Tex. Sailed overseas in May, 1918. In action in the St. Mihiel and the Meuse-Argonne Offensives. Was gassed October 29, 1918, while in action in the Argonne Forest. Served with Army of Occupation in Germany. Discharged June 8, 1919, at Camp Grant, Ill.
