After the Meeting was opened The Comtee- Appointed to Settle Accts. with the Comtee. Chofen to Build the Meetinghoufe Reported That they found the Bal- lance Due to sd. Comtee- (including Six fhillings Omited in their Acct. together with the Charge of the Writ & Service which was Nine shillings & Ten pence) Amounts to the Sum of Nine Pounds Eleven Shillings & Two Pence Three Farthings After Debate thereon the Vote was put whether it be the Mind of the Town to Allow Sd. Account And Appropriate part of the Money Due from Waltham to Watertown for the Payment thereof.

To April the Second 1757 And for Extra- ordinaries procured for Her in Said Term Alfo an Ordr. for the Treafurer to Pay Mr. Jofiah Swan Schoolmaster Ten Pounds for his keeping the School the Second Quarter.

They Directed the Clerk to Issue out Warrants Directed to the Several Con- ftables of Watertown for A Town Meeting to be at the Publick meetinghoufe in said Town on Monday the Sixth Day of March Next at Nine of the Clock in the forenoon for the Ends following (viz) (1) To Choofe a Moderator for said Meeting (2) To Choofe Selectmen A Town Clerk and Treafurr. And all other Town officers Required by Law to be Chofen in the moneth of March Annually-(3) To Choofe A Saxton and Agree how he shall be paid for his Service-(4) To Put in their votes for A County Treafurer-(5) To know the mind of ye Town whether Swine Shall Run At Large the Enfewing Year-(6) To Hear the Town Treafurers Accounts and Pais upon them (7) For the Town to Appropriate the Interest Money coming to the Town the Prefent year the Year beginning the Eleventh of Decembr Last (8) To Grant A Salery for the Revd: Mr. Seth Storer for the Enfewing Year the year beginning the first Day of March Next.
