At a Meeting of ye Selectmen at ye Houfe of m' John Kem- ball on ye 5th- Day of December Anno: Domini 1768 They Signed an Order on ye Town Treafurer to pay the Sum of £5"12"8-To ye Town Creditors which was Granted Last march Meeting-alfo to pay m' John Kemball ye Sum of 0"10"10" 3 farthings which he paid m': Samuel Haftings for Mending Glafs at the Meeting Houfe & School-Houfe in ye Year 1765-They alfo Signed an other order to pay the Sum of £27 "16"2 pence to ye perfons that procured the Meterials and Did the Repairs of ye Great Bridge the prefent year-


at this meeting they were Informed the wido Murch was in poor Circumftances and they Agreed that m' Mofes Stone pro- vide her a load of wood and be paid for it by the town-


[355] At a Meeting of ye Selectmen at ye Houfe of m' Benjamin Prentice on Mondy ye: 9th- Day of January Anno Domini 1769


They being Informed that m' William Godding was in low Circumftances & his wife Sick it was Agreed that m' Mofes Stone provide a load of wood and Send to sd: Godding and be paid for it out of the town Treafury


At a Meeting of ye Selectmen at the Houfe of m' Mofes Stone on Fryday the 13th- Day of January AD 1769-


They being Informed that Mary Coollidge was in want of a pair of Shifts they Agreed that m' Jonas White Should Provide her Some-and they Signed an order on ye Treafurer to pay mifsurs Edward Harrington jur and Samuel Soden Collectors three pounds each which was Granted them for Collecting the Rates alfo to pay m' Jonathan Learned jur three Shillings & eight pence for mending the pound And they Directed the Clerk to order the Conftables to Notifie the late Surveyors of High-ways to meet them at the Houfe of the wido Mary Learned on Wed- ensday ye First Day of February Next at one of the Clock after- noon to Settle their Accounts


Notifications were given out accordingly Dated the Same day
