[270] At a Meeting of ye Selectmen at the Houfe of ye Wido Mary Learned on the 24th. Day of January Anno Domini 1765


They being Informed that one Josiah Stowel was come to Dwell in town who Came last from Boston about the middle of March last And Thaddeus Haftings & Mary his wife from Lex- ington last on the Second day of May last their Circumftances being Such that the Selectmen Refufe to accept them to be In- habitants of Watertown and Ordered the Clerk to Issue out a Warrant to warn them out of town together with Daniel Fullar & his Family which the Conftable Could not finde before-A warrant was Issued out accordingly


At this Meeting they appointed Mr Nath1 Stone and the Town Treafurer to Proceede on the affair of Sarah Learned Directly and Defired them to go to Boston the Next Day with as many of ye Selectmen as Could attend to Treat with the Selectmen of Boston about Sd affair


at this Meeting m' Moses Stone gave a Notification in to Inform the Selectmen that he had Received one John Caldwel to live with him who Came last from Cambridge on the thirteenth Day of September last past-and one Sarah Swan who alfo Came Last from Cambridge on the Second day of April last past and they ordered her to be warned out of town


At a Meeting of the Selectmen at ye Houfe of the wido: Mary Learned on the Eighteenth day of Febry: AD 1765 -

[277] At Said Meeting the Selectmen Agreed with m' Jonas Bearned to take of and Board Mary Coollidge for one Year if She lives at ye Rate of fifteen Shillings pr Week old Tenor - - And with m' John Sawin to take Care of ye wido Lydia War- rin and Board her one year if She lives at ye Rate of thirty two Shillings pr Week old Tenor


And with Mr Jonathan Stone to take Care of & Board the wido Mary Maddox one Year at the Rate of eighteen Shillings pr Week old Tenor -
