At a Meeting of ye Selectmen on Monday ye. 17th Day of February AD: 1772. at the Houfe of m': Thomas Wellington - They Agreed to have a publick Town Meeting on Monday the Second Day of March Next at twelve of the Clock at noon at the publick Meeting Houfe and ordered the Clerk to Issue out Warrants Directed to the Several Constables Requiring them to warn all the freeholders & other Inhabitants of Watertown who are Quallified to Vote in town affairs to afsemble and Meet together at Said time and place for the Ends following (Viz) First to Choofe a Moderator for Said Meeting (2) to Choo.e Selectmen Town- Clerk & Treafurer & all other town officers Required by law to be Chofe in the month of march Annually, (3) To Choofe a Saxton and agree how he Shall be paid for his Service (4) to put in their Votes for a County Treafurer (5) To know the minde of the town wheather Swine Shall Run at large the present year, (6) To Choofe a Committe Examin the Treafurers accounts (7) To appropriate the Interest money Coming to the town the present year, (8) To Grant a Sallary for ye Revd: m': Seth Storer for the Year Ensueing the year begining the first day of march Next, (9) To Grant money to Support the Grammer & Englifh Schools that may be agreed upon, and act any thing Relating thereto the town may may think fitt, (10) To Grant money to Support the poor - (11) To Grant money to Repair the Great Bridge, (12) To hear the accounts of thofe perfons the town is Indebted to and Grant money to pay the Same (13) To Grant money to Repair the High-ways & Town-ways, and act any thing Relating thereto the town may think proper (14 To Hear the pleas of any of the late Constables for abating any per- ticular perfons Rates in their lists and to act thereon as they See fitt, -- (15) To appoint * perfon to take care of the old

They agreed that the Grammer School be continued four weeks more and that m': Nathaniel Bond keep it at the Same Rate he did last year, and that m': Samuel White Desire him to begin it the Next Day
