Then the Meeting was Desolved


At a Meeting of the freeholders and other Inhabitants of Water- town Quallified to Vote in town affairs Afsembled at the Meeting Houfe on the 4th Day of April AD. 1791. by Adjournment. William Hunt Esq': being the Moderator of the Meeting


the meeting being Opened they proceeded and Chofe Mefsrs: Samuel Hager and Mofes Hager Wardens for the enfueing year. Then the Committee Appointed to examin into the State of the Lottery reported and after Debate thereon they Voted to raife a Sufficient Sum of money to pay the Watertown managers part of the Charge of the Printing the tickets &c.


Then the Committee Appointed to Consider the expediency of the towns Selling their right in the Goddard place. Reported as their opinion that the land might be Sold, except what is Necessary to accomodate the Buildings which they think best to be kept for the ufe of the town

Luke Bemis gave in a Notification that he received into this town one Eunice Adams from lincoln about the Middle of April Last past also Peter underwood last from Waltham in the Said month of April last
