They also Agreed to have an other meeting the Same day at the Same place at two O Clock afternoon to Act on the following articles (Viz). First to Choofe a Moderator of the meeting
2ly To know the minde of the town whether they will give the first Detachment of Soldiers who Went into the Service of the State in Capt Bonds Company the Sum of eighteen fhillings each as a bounty which Sum the Selectmen have paid to them. Provided they will take the States pay for their wages.
(3ly) To know the mind of the town what they will do further Refpecting the lottery and act any thing relating thereto they may think Proper.

They Voted & allow'd the eighteen fhillings advanced to the Soldiers of the first Detachment that went out of Capt: Bonds Company as a bounty provided they Accept of the State pay in full of their wages.
(3d) article relating to the lottery being Considered they Voted to Difmifs the Committee Appointed on the 18th- Day of De- cember last past to afsift the managers, &c Then Voted to Reconfider all the Votes they had Paft before Relating to the lottery.

Then m' Richard Clark Informed he had one account against the town which was mifs laid & it was Voted that the Selectmen Confider that & allow what appears right - Then the meeting was Defolved
At a Publick Town meeting held by adjournment from the 7th- Day of may 1787. to the 28th- Day of the Same month Dr Marfhall Spring moderator
The Meeting being Opened. The Committee Appointed to Pre- pare Inftructions for the Reprefentative laid a Draught of of Som on the table which was Read. and after Debate. They voted to accept of the Same; and Voted that the Town-Clerk Sign the Same in the Name & by order of the the town -
Then the meeting was Defolved
At a Meeting of the Selectmen on Monday the 4th- Day of may AD. 1787. at m': Samuel Wellingtons. They Agreed to have a Meeting of the Selectmen of the three towns concerned in the Support of the Great Bridge in Watertown to be at Mrs Coollidges on monday the 11th- Inftant at 3 O Clock in the afternoon to view the Bridge and adjust Accounts & . and also to Settle accounts between Waltham & Watertown & Directed the Clerk to Notify the Selectmen thereof. - at this meeting the Selectmen examined Mr Richard Clarks Account relating to the Bell and allow'd ye same being £ 2"5"11
