The wife of Joseph Bond & their two Children were brot: from Charlstown & Dilivered to ye Selectmen to take Care of Whereupon they Agreed with m': Nehemiah Rand of Charlstown to take the Said Joseph Bonds wife & the Eldest Child and keep them till the first day of may Next & m': Rand is to pay Four Shillings pr: week to ye Selectmen for ye Labour of mrs: Bond besides her, & her Childs Board

Refolved that it is the Opinion of the town that the State of Rights of the Colonists in General and of this province in per- ticular as men as Christians and as Subjects are by the town of Boston very properly Stated, and the violations of thofe Rights perticularly pointed out and fully Demonftrated .- upon thefe very Important affairs the Sentiments of the town are more fully expreft in the following Remarks &c: When we take a view of the Numerous Inftances wherein our Constitutional Rights & Charter priviledges are invaded, and Violently taken from us and the many perticulars where in we are Cruelly oprefsed - we are filled with fearfull Apprehentions that there is a Defign formed and plann Laid not only 1 to oprefs but to Inflave us, which plann Seams to be Carrying into Execution with great Rapedity - The Consideration whereof fills us with great Grief & Anciety - For Rendering Such a wicked Defign abortive, we are willing to Contrabute to the utmoft of our ability in any Constitutional way that may be thought Expedient in Conjunction with our Bretheren of the Community - for however deep Such a plann may be laid and how far Soever advanced towards a Compleation, yet we

At a Genel: Town-Meeting of ye freeholders & other Inhabitants of of Watertown who are Regularly Quallified to Vote in town affairs being Meet at the Publick Meeting House in Sd: town on Monday the 15th Day of March AD 1773. By Adjournment ~ The Meeting being Opened they Proceeded to act on ye (16) article and after Some Dabate thereon they Voted that the Selectmen Inquire into the Circumftances of the town way men- tioned in Said article, and Make Reporte what they think proper for the town to act on the affair at may meeting -
Then the Report of ye Committe appointed to Repair the School- House was Read, and it was Voted to accept the Same, also Voted that the money Due from m": Isaac Sanderfon by his Note of Hand be Appropriated to help Sattisfy the Committes account and that a Sum Sufficient with the Grant & appropriation to Sattisfie the Same Should be Afsest which is £ 1: 10 :5:3
