At a meeting of the Selectmen on Wednesday the 10th Day of may AD 1780. at m' John Bullards - They agreed to have a Town meeting on monday the 15th Day of the present month of may at the meeting House to Choofe a perfon or perfons to Reprefent the town in the General Court the year enfueing and alfo an other meeting the Same day at the Same place to act on the following Articles (Viz) to Choofe a moderator
(2) To Choofe town officers as are Needfull in the Room of Such as do not Serve. (3) to do any thing that may be thought Needfull Relating to the minifterial place. or for the Settleing m': Eliot and to make Such further Grant of money as may be Judged Needfull for that Service (4) To Consider & make Such grants to m': Ebenezer Everit and any other Collectors as they think Proper (5) To know the minde of the town Whether they will Build any more Pews, or Sell any that belong to the town and Act thereon as they See Proper - (6) To Consider what is further Necessary to be don Relating to the Repairs of the Great Bridge & act thereon as they See fitt. (7) To Consider of and Act any thing the town may think proper Relating to John Stearnes's place
