At a Publick Town Meeting held at the Meeting House on Tuesday the 6th Day of June AD: 1780. by adjournment to Con- sider the Purpofed New form of Government The Comtte to whome the Consideration thereof was Refered made Verbal Re- port that no very Meterial alteration was Necessary in their Opinion. The Said Form was again Read & after Consideration thereon they came to the following Vote (Viz)
Voted that the Form of Government or Civil Constitution Agreed upon by the Convention, is Agreable to the minds of this town and that our Delegates in Convention be and hereby are Directed to Adopt the Same. provided it be Agreable to the minds of two thirds of the Inhabitants of this State to make Such alterations as will render the Same Conformable to two thirds of the In- habitants of Said State - and to agree upon a time when the Same Shall take Place

They agreed to have a Publick Town Meeting at the Meeting house on Wednesday the 27 Inftant at one O Clock afternoon & ordered the Clerk to Issue out Warrants to Warn the Inhabitants to meet at sd time and place to Act on the following Articles (Viz)
First to Choofe a moderator (2) To Agree upon Some Method to Procure a Quantity of Beef agreable to a Refolve of the General Court or to provide money to Pay in lieu thereof. and to Act thereon as may be thought Proper - (3) To Agree upon Some Method to raife men to fill the Continential Army and to Act any thing Relating thereto that may be thought proper - (4) To hear the Reports of any Comttee and to Act thereon as they See proper (5) To do any thing Relating to the Schools as may be thought proper -
