WRIGHT
Nathaniel' Wright Family
It is probable that almost every person bearing the name of Wright as his surname is descended from an English ancestor who was an artificer, a worker in wood, and as the name could be assumed by any artificer who chose, there are numerous families whose origin is not identical. The name appears early in New England records, and there are several lines not of the same descent.

He settled in the S. W. part of S. between 1776 and 1780, living perhaps at No. 1901%. He m. Keene Aug. 23, 1780, "Catee Dauson" (Catherine Dauson is believed, was a dau. of Mrs. Mary Dauson who m.
