Wayne (Hoot) Phelan Aug. 7, 1956 - Dec. 28, 1990 It's been 5 years now!
A million time I've missed you A million tears I've cried If love could have saved you You never would have died.
Things I feel more deeply are The hardest things to say, Dearest son, I've always loved you In a very special way.
I often sit and think of you And think of how you died, To think I couldn't say goodbye Before you closed your eyes.
No one can know my emptiness No one can see my weeping For all my tears from an aching heart Are shed while others are sleeping.
If I had a lifetime wish, my son Or a dream that would come true I'd pray to God with all my heart For one more day, my son, with you.
Love Mom, Dad, Mike, Jim, Sherry, Patty and Wayne Jr.
