Frank Weinmuller
Frank Weinmuller was born in Austria to Joseph and Anna Weinmuller on Oct. 26, 1908. He entered into eternal life early in the morning on Dec. 16, 2001 at his home in Southlake.
Frank came to the United States in 1908. In 1921, he returned to Europe and then returned to the United States. He came to the Southlake area three years ago where he resided with his son, Joseph.
Frank had a very inter- esting life. He was a very gifted man. He made his own rocking chair as well as a rowing machine that had rollers to massage his back and shoulders. He made many articles out of wood. He also made a papier maché figure of a dog for his son, Frank.
He loved music so much that he made a fiddle that he played. He also played the accordion and the har- monica. He also made a flute that he played. He was talented in oil painting as well. One picture that still hangs in the family home is of the good shepherd hold- ing a lamb and sheep, but the river flowed between the shepherd and the sheep- depicting that we should stay close to the shepherd, not leaving anything be- tween him and ourselves.
He was a house painter in Europe and learned how to paint things to look like many different kinds of wood and even to look like marble. He took a lot of pride in all of his work and it showed through in the works themselves.
Frank was a devout Catholic Christian. He and all his talent will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Thomas Lee Brown
On Nov. 18, 1932, Thomas W. and Clara Brown were blessed with a son, Thomas Lee, in Bradley, Calif.
Tom's older sister, Barbara, really loved her little brother, so much so that when they were younger she protected him to the fullest. You better not bully her little brother or you would have Big Sis to deal with. They had a lot of family in Bradley and they were all very close.
Tom was an ardent outdoorsman. This started at an early age. As a young boy he would trap small animals and eam a little money for their pelts. Then as he grew older he eagerly looked forward to the first day of hunting season. He also loved fishing and prided himself on taking care of his guns and fishing equipment.
Tom was always a hard worker, starting in his early teens, working at a logging mill near Glennville. After gradua- tion from Bakersfield High School, he joined the Navy and served from 1950-1954. He retumed home from the military and had a few jobs before he settled in the oil business. He started from the bottom and worked his way up to Vice Presi- dent and Controller of D&G Oil in Las Vegas, Nev. He retired from there Nov. 1, 1997.
Prior to retiring, Tom met Ronda in 1994 at a family Christ- mas dinner. This was the be- ginning of a new relationship. In Tom's unique way he later pro- posed to Ronda by comparing their lives to a football game- saying "we are in the last half, so why not get on with our lives?" Thus a new union be- gan with their wedding on April 29, 1995.
After retiring he chose to move to the Kem River Valley to live closer to his family. Tom was a very caring, thoughtful and generous husband, dad, grandpa and friend. His family meant the world to him.
Tom passed away on Dec. 22, 2001.
He was preceded in death by his mother and dad, Clara and Thomas W. Brown. He is survived by a loving family and numerous friends: his wife, Ronda L. Brown; daughter Jackie Carter and husband Chuck; son Douglas Brown and wife Barbara; daughter Becky Lee Fox and husband Jim; sis- ter Barbara Pierce and hus- band Leonard; nephews Leonard and Mike and wife Wanda; great-niece Tiffany and great-nephew Clinton.
Stepchildren are Jim Fox and wife Becky, Carol Bimat and husband Bobby, Norman Fox and wife Judi, Jeffrey Fox, Tern Hacobian and husband Dar- win, and Shellie Tipton and hus- band Bart.
Grandchildren are Jeffrey and Joey Carter, Tiffany, Trevor, Jason and Brian Fox; Kim, Jen- nifer and Megan Fox; Chelsea and Spenser Fox; Courtnie, J.D., Ty and Lynnae Hacobian; D.J. Selk; and Caitlynne and Jakob Tipton. Tom loved and was very protective of all his grandchildren.
Tom is now at peace with the Lord who made such a dif- ference in his life. He will be forever loved and remembered by all of us.
Services were arranged by Valley Mortuary of Lake Isabella.

Beth Mae Morrison
Beth Mae Morrison en- tered life on Jan. 8, 1925 in Taft, Calif. Born to her par- ents Herschel and Bessie Fray, Beth was raised with good traditional values and a strong sense of family. After moving from the Taft area at a young age, Beth moved to Bakersfield, where she completed her education and upbringing. In her years, she lived in several cities and towns, and worked as a retail clerk, waitress and most recently, a self-employed book- keeper. Cooking, sewing and reading were some of her passions in life. But the most important thing to know about Beth was her all-consuming love for her family, and that she was the most wonderful wife. On Dec. 30, 2001, as these things do, Beth passed away and went home to be with her maker. Graveside
