M. Harrison Strong. 85. who served as private secretary to General U. S. Grant during the Civil war, died at 8 o'clock last evening in Taney county where he had resided for 30 years. He had been in falling health for almost A Fear.

EIGHT INQUESTS HELD IN COUNTY BY WINDLE


Jewell Windle, Greene county cororor. conducted eight inquesta during August, his report fied yes- terday revealed.


Of the eight deaths investigated. four were from natural causes. One suicide was reported. That was of Willlarr. J. Bradley. 2545 North Main avenue who took his life because of Il1 health. One person was killed in an auto accident, one homicide was reported and one person died from ilguuuug shock. .

He was rushed to the hospital but died almost immediately.
