The Price family moved into Mla- sour! when Mrs. Price was 10 years old. They drove through the Iron luining region south of St. Louis on Greene's ferry boat. At that time There wasn't & rallroad from St. Louis to Springfield. The entire Journey was made with oxen. If they traveled 10 .miles a day they con- sidered it a record.
