The baby was lying upon the bed. Harry Waltz, a neighbor, broke out a window and reached the child, which already had suffered from the smoke and flames.
Child Lives Five Hours.
The mother and her baby were hor- ribly burned. The mother's clothes were burned from her body. They ware rushed to the hospital here In en ambulance · driven by Robert Thornbill of Branson. Taney county coroner.
The baby lived until 5 o'clok. The mother succumbed two hours laler. She was conscious until death.

BISHOP FUNERAL.
Funeral services for Charles Tred Bishop, 80, formerly of Springfield. who died Wednesday at Alomogordo, N. M. will be held at 2 p. m. Bun- day. The body will arrive here to- night. Burial will be in Maple Park cemetery. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, & daughter. Mra. Paul Rob- Inson of Wichita, Kus .; a brother, William Blebop, and a sister, Mrs. Jennings.
SNIDER FUNERAL.
Funeral services were held at 9 s. m. today at the home for Wande Jean Bnider, 5-montha-old daughter of Drimar Bnider. 2315 Howard, who died yesterday morning at the home. Burial was in Marlin cemetery under direction of the Klingner funeral home.

Mra. Caldwell hed resided in Bran- soD for several years. She was born and reared at Henderson, Mo. dbe was the daughter of the late Dr. J. P. Bruton.

Many of them have grown very alowly. and if John Bchmook had gone to Yeliville or 50 other towns in this section he would have died quite poor unless he could have saved considerably from hia earninga. Farm land in this section has gone to much higher figures in the last 50 yeara, although there are not As many farmera in the Ozarka as there were the day John Schmook died.
