He is survived by his wife, Mra. Ellen L. Shields Walker, whom he married in 1897: one con. Edward F. Walker.' now with the MacMillan Book company; a brother, the Rev- erend G. M. Walker of Mountain Grove. No, and a sister, Aire. John Scarborough of Norwood, Mo.


Mr. Walker had been a member of the First Baptist church aince coming to Springfield, and was also a member of the University club. here, and of the Modern Woodmen of the World.

The Reverend 'Daniel L. Healy. 73. founder of St. Patrick Catholic church at Peirce City, and for 14 years pastor of the Sacred Heart Catholic church here, 'dled rester- day morning at 8'. Joseph hospital, Kansas City where he had been chaplain for seven years,

He served as priest at Sacred Heart church here until 1919. when he was transferred to Kansas City as dasletant pastor of the &t, Pat- rick church there. He remained In that capacity until seven years ago. when he retired from active pasto- rate work and became chaplain of the St. Joseph hospital.
