Mra. Maude H. Burton of 640 East Grand Announces the marriage of her daughter) Barbara, to. Mr. P. O. Wood. Jr. son of, Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Wood 91 1021 Boutb Fremont.


The ceremony was read by the Rev. M. F. Cowden. Mr. and Mrs. Wood .wifi make their home in Memphis, Tenn. where Mr. Wood is employed with the. Frisco railroad company. Mrs. Wood attended Drury college and is a member of the Pl Beta Phi sorority. Mr. Wood is a graduate of Purdue university and a member of the Bigma Alpha Epislon fraternity.


Harris-Jones Wedding Announced


Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Myrtle Emma Jones, daughter. of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Jones and Mr. William Myron Har- ris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Har- ris. The ceremony was read July 8 at 9:30 o'clock by the Reverend French, pastor of the East Avenue church. Only members of the family were present.


Following the ceremony the wed- ding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents to twenty-seven guests.

Funeral arrangements are +incom- plete for William M. Gilmore, 76, who died Monday, night at his.home, 610 Hovey street, following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife,-two daugh- "'ters. Mrs.' R. C. Harrolle !! Tulsa, and Mrs. "Marie Glore, Kansas City; and four sons, Reed Gilmore, of Harrison, Ark., C. A. Gilmore, Neodesha, Kan., and O. L. Morris and Irvin Gilmore. both of Springfield. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery. five miles north of Willard. under direction of Kling- ner Funeral home.
