Brother Identifies Corpse as That of J. F. Stall of Nebraska.


PINEVILLE, Mo., April 9-(A. P.) -. The body found stuffed in & culvert south of Goodman, Ho., last Friday morning was identified today as that of J. P. Stall, retired garage owner of Grafton, Neb.

Drowns In Osago Fork of Gas- conade, But Searchers Un- able to Find His Body

LEBANON, April 9. - Leaping from Dry Knob bridge 16 miles east of here, an unidentified man drowned in the Osage fork of Gas- conade river about 4 o'clock this afternoon.


The man's suicide irap was wit- nessed by three persons, who were too far away to recognize him or obtain any clue to his identity. Rushing to the bridge, the three saw' the man's hat floating on the water. A moment later the body rose to the surface, but the man made no attempt to save himself and sank again immediately.


Floyd Shadle. Mrs. Besale Maxey and Farmer Chambera, who were wielting at a nearby farm, and the man appeared to be nbout 35 or 40 years old. He wore a leather coat. they said, but they were unable to give any further description of fils clothing.


Sheriff Sam C. Allen and Deputy R. R. Alien were aummoned from Lebanon and recovered the man's hat but found no trace of the body. The search la being . continued.
