Daniel Walsh. 31. formerly Springfield, but for the last ferr years -- a switch foreman for the Filsco at Memphis. yesterday morning was killed. when he fell from a freight icar there.
Walsh was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Walsh, 1313 North Missourl avenue. While in Springfield he was employed in the clerical department of the Frisco company offices.

The marriage of Miss Bertha Pitt- man to Mr. X. E. Noch took place Sunday afternoon, August 12, at 2:45 at -- the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pittman, on West Chase street.
The ring ceremony was performed by the Reverend Anna 6haw.
Miss Elale Barner was the bride's on :' attendant and Mr. Iven Franke. a cousin of the groom, acted as best man. Only a few of the young couple's intimate friends were present.
