[Under date of Dec. 18, 1891, Mr. W. TRACY Eustis writes me thus : " Mr. Ed. ward G. Buckland has been aiding me to follow the original Thomas and wife, and bas concluded that the male line became extinct, and that the later Windsor Buck lands are from WILLIAM of Hingham, Mass., 1635, and Rehoboth. When Nicholas of W. made his will (June 17, 1228), his wife was dead; only a dau. survived, and he mentioned no sons. When his bro. Timothy of W. d., his only son was Thomas, b. 23 June, 1665, who d. 30 June, 137, giving all his ppy. to his wife for life, and remainder to his dan. Sarah and her husband, Jobn Gaylord, but making no men- tion of a son. And we can find no evidence of other male descent.
