* One of these Zebulons was the author of the following notice printed in the Conn. Compunt, 17:
"ZEBULON HOSKINS, of Windsor, hereby informs the publick, that for the space of four years, he was previously afflicted with the Girard, to each a degree as to cause him to make water a hundred times in 21 hours, but could void but very little at a time, sometimes but a few drops, attended with the most distracting pain, and, after the use of many things to no benefit, he was accidentally informed by a travelling gentleman that a tea made of rushes, viz. : such as the women scour their pails with, had been found by experience to be a sovereign remedy for that disease; he, therefore, inmediately applied the medicine, and it had the desired etTert - he drank plentifully of it, made it his constant drink, and in about right or ten days bis pain abated, mul hr voided abundance of gravel. He kept on in the ner of it for about two months, when he found he was perfectly emed, and has remained well now for about two years, except when onee hr wet himself and took a great cold, which brought on the disease again, but the same medicine removed it immediately."
