Thomas Drake, bro, to the Admiral, names no bro, in his will, but names an uncle John. Richand, above-named, i- said to have been consin-nephew to the Admiral. Therefore, the two lines of descent may have been from the sons of John Drake4 and Agnes Kelloway, or from John Drake6 and Margaret C'ole.


The surmise given in our first edition that John of Windsor, and Robert of Hampton, N. H., were bros .. has been disproved by recent investigation.
