RAIMO, ANTHONY-Born Forino, Avellino, Italy, Oct. 21, 1887. Son of Joseph Raimo and Maria Derita. Educated in the public schools of his native town. Came to U. S. in 1900. Returned to Italy where he served in the Italian Army. Following his return to U. S. in 1911, he settled in Boston. Was proprietor of the Medallion Press for 13 years, and in charge of the Touraine Chocolate Co., printing dept., for eight years. During World War II he served as member of the East Boston Draft Board No. 12. Also a notary public. Army in South Pacific; Mrs. Josephine Antonucci; Mrs. Alice Mello; and Vito, a worker on aero- planes. All are graduates of Dedham High School. Married second time to Concetta Demiglio of E. Dedham in 1929. Mr. Recupero's father, a prominent attorney in Italy had the following children: Maria; Mrs. Domenica Fazio; Giuseppe; Vito, ex-carbiniere chief for 25 years; Mrs. Marianna Fuoca; Mrs. Giuseppina Sacco; and Mrs. Vincenzina Catalfamo.

Settled in Peabody in 1917, where he attended public schools. Married to Isabelle Siles of Peabody, October 15, 1938. Member of the Italian Benefit and Social Association and fond of all sports. Mr. Regis is member of Chamber of Commerce, Jubilee Yacht Club of Beverly, Peabody Rifle and Revolver Club, U. S. Coast Guard, and presi- dent of Italian Benefit and Social Association. Fond of football, golf, bowling, travel and music. Active in civic affairs and in welfare of his community. His father, who came to U. S. A. in 1913, settled in Pea- body in 1917. Married Sarah Rossi of Peabody, July 4, 1936. Children: Maria Victoria, born May 16, 1938; and Mario Jr., born Aug. 6, 1943. Member: Italian Benefit and Social Association. Fond of football, hunting, travel and music. His father was born in Cigliano, Vercelli, Italy. Came to America in 1913, settling in Medford and in Peabody in 1917.
