In the service of the Framingham Public Library since 1930. Fond of travel, art, and classical music. Her father came to America in 1901 settling in Framingham in 1920, where he engaged in ornamental Iron Works. GUERRIERO, ANTONIO-Professor of violin and leader of Ted Grande orchestra. Born Beverly Aug. 20, 1900. Son of Carmine Guerriero and Rosa Penza. Graduated from Salem High School; attended N. E. Conserva- tory of Music and San Pietro a Maiello Music Conservatory of Naples, Italy. entertained the Mussolini regime on their visit to Naples. Played for the famed Dolly Sisters of Paris for a year. Returning to U. S. in 1924 he directed an orchestra and was featured as violin soloist at Hamilton Hotel in Bermuda. In 1927 he founded the Modern School of Music at Salem, Mass., teaching violin, piano, solfeggio and harmony. In 1930 he used stage name "Ted Grande and his friendly orchestra" toured the U. S. playing on stage, radio and college proms. His complete orchestra was drafted in the 1940 draft. Ted enlisted his aid as defense worker at G. E. Co. of Lynn. Married Jeannette Theriault a reg. nurse, Nov. 17, 1937, daughter of Omer P. Theriault former acting mayor of Salem. Children: Jean Marie and Anne Louise. Res .: Salem, Mass.
