Children: Peter N. and Rose Marie. Mr. Palladino is proprietor of Moakley's Cafe, of 280 Tre- mont St., Boston. Formerly owner of one of the best stables of race horses in New England. He was among the youngest of trainers and the only person of Italian extraction in New England States to own the famous horse "Little Beans", which ran in the Kentucky Derby. Con- sidered an authority on horses. He is also fond of boxing and fishing. A lover of travelling and music. His father, a native of Sciglia, Calabria, Italy, came to America in the early 80's, settling in Boston, where he . engaged in wholesale fruit produce business for 50 years. PALLOTTA, GUIDO LUIGI, REV. - Administrator of St. Anthony's Church of Revere. Born Boston, Sept. 1, 1902. Son of Cesidio Pallotta and Antonetta Rossica. Education: St. Anthony's College of Catskill, N. Y., Sargiano Seminary of Arezzo, Italy and St. John's Seminary of Brighton. Ordained at Holy Cross Cathedral of Boston by his Eminence Cardinal William O'Connell, May 7, 1926. Assigned, Church of Nativity of Scituate; St. Bridget Church at Maynard; Our Lady of Pompei of Bos- ton; St. Rita Church of Haverhill; St. Anthony Church, Sept. 1943. PANETTA, CHARLES (late)-Professor of music. Born Cinquefronde, Reggio Calabria, Italy, May 20, 1883. Son of Ralph Panetta (a band leader and baritone opera singer in Italy) and Carolina Gatto. Studied music in Messina and Naples. Came to U. S. in early 1900. Organizer and leader, Avellino Band of Boston for 20 years. Taught music in evening school centers of Boston. Considered among the most prominent Italian Amer- icans in the field of music in Boston. Later proprietor, Panetta Fur Co. of Boston for 15 years. Died Nov. 30, 1945. Married Mary Gallo of Boston, May 20, 1911, whose parents were born in Platania, Catanzaro, Italy. Children: Ralph, radio engineer, electronic specialist, married to Anna Baiarrio; Alfred, welder, married to Iolanda Palermo; Carolyn, married to Paul Chase; William, Veteran U. S. Army in Europe, 591 Engineers Boat Reg't, took part in 25 battle engagements, awarded seven battle stars, married to Mary DeSalvo; Albert, radio engineer, is in U. S. Navy at Chicago Institute of Technology; Robert, veteran U. S. Army air corps in Europe; and Charles in U. S. Army overseas. All attended Medford High School. Res .: 53 Wareham St., Medford.

Fond of baseball, boxing, hockey and travel. His father was born in Salerno, Italy. Came to U. S. in the early 80's, settling in New York City as city employee for over 30 years. In Italy he served in the Italian Army for five years. Had the following children: Joseph, veteran U. S. Studied violin with his uncle, Joseph D'Agostino. At. the N. E. Conservatory of Music studied bass violin under Max Kunze of the Boston Symphony. In service of U. S. Emp. Dept. since 1937. Member of Order of Sons of Italy in America. Father, born in Eboli, Italy. Came to Amer- ica in 1902, settling in Dorchester, engaged in the shoe business for over 40 years.
