Graduated from Albany Medical College, Union University in 1941, M.D. Interne at Albany Hospital, N. Y .; Medical Center of Jersey City; and Kings County Hospital of Brooklyn; general residency at Worcester Hahnemann Hospital. Specializes in Sur- gery in Worcester. Volunteered in U. S. Army and was commissioned first lieutenant in Medical corps, June 9, 1941. He first served as infantry battalion surgeon, later assigned to surgical service of an army general hospital. Educated in the public schools of his native town, where he also learned the trade of costum tailoring. Served. in the Italian Army for six years, during World War I, twice wounded. Was a German prisoner for 14 months, during which time he, with others, were sent to Belgium, where they constructed a highway which was later used to carry the first German cannons that bombed Paris. Awarded Croix de Guerre, and the Allied medals for distinguished service. Came to U. S. in 1921, settling in Lynn, where he has been foreman at Murray Tom and Sons for 10 years, now in custom tailoring business. Married to Maria Barbaro of Montemarano, Italy.
