Educated in the public schools of his native town, where he learned custom shoe making and studied music under competent teachers. Was church organist for ten years. Served in the Italian Army. In America since 1933. Proprietor of Paul's Shoe Store and Shoe Repair of 1045 Cambridge St., Cambridge, since 1938. Mr. Lombardo is also an outstanding musician, violinist and baritone player. Leader of his band known as "Paolo Lombardo and his Orchestra" which is one of the finest for banquets, weddings, clubs and gatherings of special occasions. Mar- ried to Giovannina Reale in Italy, Jan. 23, 1929. Children: Salvatore and. Pauline. Mr. Lombardo has been member of National Guard for two years. Fond of all sports. Graduated from Saugus High School and from Royal Academy of Sculpturing in Florence, Italy. In the ecclesiastical decoration field since 1935. Third largest and most modern art manufacture in New England. Married Louise Mazzucchelli of Dorchester, May 11, 1933, a graduate of Boston University. One son, Paul Louis, born July 14, 1934. Mr. Lualdi is active in civic affairs. Fond of boating, travel and music. His father was born in Genoa, Italy. Came to U. S. in 1905 settling in Somerville, where he established his art mfg. which later moved to Cambridge. He retired from business in 1935 and his son Louis carries on. Has following children: Ida, married to Prof. Paolo Gerini of Florence, Italy; Louis, of this writing; Edgar, veteran U. S. Army, Warld War II, as captain, Medical Corps. Married Adeline Widmeyer of Toronto, Canada, Aug. 11, 1943, a graduate of Stratford Nor- mal School and Toronto Western Hospital. S. in 1902 settling in Boston, as restaurant proprietor in the brokerage district for over 35 years.
