S. in 1907 settling in Boston. Head book- keeper at the Stabile Bank and Trust Co. for 15 years; correspondent of Il Progresso Italo Americano of New York for 12 years; and supreme orator Order Sons of Italy for 13 years. Radio commentator for seven years on stations WMEX, WCOP, Salem station, etc. Considered among the most outstanding radio commentators in the U. S. Married the late Esterina Malfatti of Viareggio, Italy Sept. 8, 1905. Children: Joseph, graduate Worcester Technology; Elviro, salesman; Velleda, married to Frank Lynch, 1st Lt. in U. S. In the service of Simonds Saw and Steel Co. since 1913. Married the late Maria Lombardi, Feb. 12, 1910. Children: John, chief commanding petty officer in U. S. Navy aviation corps, since 1928; Alfred, captain in U. S. Army air force overseas; Josephine, married to Mario Barba; Margaret, a book- keeper; Michael, staff sergeant in U. S. Army overseas; Anthony, in U. S. Army and Frank in U. S. Navy overseas, all of whom have graduated from Fitchburg High School. Married second time to Filomena Matarazzo of Avellino, Italy, Oct. 11, 1934. Two children-Maria and Elena. Travelled in Italy four times.
