Most representative works: Reredos, St. Luke's Cathedral of Portland, Maine; Reredos, St. Mary's Church of Cambridgeport, Mass .; Nativity, Barry College of Miami; Reredos in Lawyers Bay at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine of New York; and the Reredos of St. Mary's Chapel of Wash- ington, D. C. These last two are considered by critics as among the most beautiful altar pieces in the world. Edu- cated in the public schools in Italy, where he learned custom tailoring. In U. S. since 1903. In Chelsea since 1911. One of Boston's finest custom tailors for over 40 years. Married Marianna Martucci of Santa Maria La Fossa, Naples, Italy, in 1887. PELUSO, GUY GEORGE-Guy G. Peluso Co., creative advertising spe- cialties, 12 Howard St., Revere. Born Sutton, Mass., Jan. 5, 1907. Son of Gabriele Peluso and Marianna Martucci. Educated in the Chelsea public schools. Pioneer American of Italian descent in the United States to enter the field of creative advertising, novelties and specialties. A keen student of human nature, a leader and a noted lecturer. Veteran U.S. Navy Sea- bees, World War II. First pre-war Pearl Harbor father drafted. Took part in the two major invasions of Anzio and of Southern France, awarded two battle stars, also the European, the African and the American Aerial medals, including World War II Victory medal. Married Caroline Martha Naroski of Chelsea, April 29, 1927. Children: Guy G., Jr., is associated with his father; Theodore Francis; Dolores Joan and Richard Laurance.
