Began to study piano with his aunt, Florence DeNapoli of Roxbury, later under Prof. D'Alessandro of Boston, and at New England Conservatory of Music, under Mr. and Mrs. DeVoto. Professional musician since 1931. Has toured throughout the U. S. and Canada, playing in leading hotels and theaters. Considered outstanding in the field of popular music. Married Evelyn Downey, November 28, 1940, a graduate of Somerville High and one of the best known theatrical dancers in Boston. Children: Maureen Joanne and Marilyn Joan. Mr. DiNapoli's father was born in Chiusano, Avellino, Italy. Came to U. S. in 1906, settling in Boston, as businessman. Has the following children: Dante (veteran U. S. Father, a native of Chiusano San Domenico, Italy, came to America in the early 80's settling in Boston. Was in the banking business. Married Catherine Di Napoli of Boston, Dec. 19, 1936, a graduate of Simmons College and former public school teacher. Children: Anthony, Jr., Katherine and Nancy. Mr. Di Natale has been a man of many activities, deeply interested in flying, has traveled extensively in the U. S., South America and three times in Europe. Was an amateur boxer for four years and participated in football, baseball, track and swimming. His father was born in Milazzo, Messina, Italy. De Simone of Boston (a nurse in charge of South dept., of Boston City Hospital). Dr. Di Natale's father was born in Oliveri in the province of Messina, Italy.
