In the service Logan Air Port since 1945. Formerly with Rohmer Wool Scouring Co., of Newton, for nine years. Married Albina Ferullo of East Boston, May 3, 1941. Children: Anna, born April 14, 1943 and Salvatore, born May 7, 1945. Mr. Indorato was manager of his High school football team. Fond of baseball, billiard, travel and the theatre. His father was born Province Catania, Italy. Came to U. S. in 1910, settling in Saugus. Worked for Boston Elevator. Had following children: Joseph; Josephine; Mary, mar- ried to Michael Esposito of Chelsea; and Salvatore of the U. S. Navy. Res .: 41 Orleans St., East Boston.
IODICE, FRANK-Horticulturist. Born Airola, Benevento, Italy, Feb. 14, 1884. Son of Michele Iodice and Biagia also Iodice. Attended public schools here and abroad. Came to U. S. in 1897, settling in Watertown. Engaged in market garden business with his two brothers Clemente and Alfonso for eight years. In same business for himself from 1912 to 1943, when he turned it over to his two sons Michael and Arthur, who have carried it on under their father's supervision until 1946, and it was among the largest and most up-to-date market garden and mushroom growing in the bay state. Said business shifted in 1946, into growing flowers, having constructed numerous large, modern greenhouses. Mr. Iodice married Rose Falzarana of his native town, May 13, 1912 during his last visit to Italy. All the children are graduates of Watertown High school. Mr. Iodice has been active in civic affairs and has always taken deep interest in the welfare of his community. His father, who came to U. S. in 1892 was among the pioneer Italian American settlers of Watertown, where he engaged in agriculture. Had the following children: Clemente, Domenic, Alfonso, Frank, Angela Maria and Teresa. Attended East Boston High and Boston Trade school, where he specialized in Plumbing. In the restaurant business with Peter S. Adamo of East Boston since 1946. Formerly in the plumbing and heat- ing business. Married Ida Martello of East Boston, June 19, 1938. Chil- dren: Richard Benedict, Robert James, and Ronald Stephens. Member and former financial secretary, Riesina Society. Active in civic and political affairs. Fond of football, wrestling, and music. His father was born in Riesi, Caltanisetta, Italy. Came to U. S. in 1913, settling in Boston. In East Boston since 1921 in the plumbing field. Had following children: Salvatore V .; Peter L., veteran U. S. Army, World War II, in the Pacific, in the invasion of Iwo Jima Islands, awarded three battle stars; and Mary Antoinette Beatrice. Res .: 59 Saratoga St., East Boston.
