Graduated from English High, Wentworth Institute; New England Air- craft School with master mechanic rating; and attended Northeastern University. Former senior instructor in U. S. Army for four years. Mar- ried Sarah Maggio of East Boston, April 27, 1942. One daughter, Virginia Ann, born Dec. 15, 1945. Mr. Caponetti is fond of hunting, fishing, travel, art, reading and music. Author of an outstanding book on, "Theory of operation construction and repair of all types of aircraft engines," soon to be published. His parents were born in Caltanisetta, Italy. Came to U. Children: Carmen, veteran U. S. Army, was in he invasion of Africa and Italy, awarded three battle stars and Infantry Combat Badge; Joseph J., veteran U. S. Army, was in the invasion of Africa and Italy, two battle stars; John, veteran U. S. Navy, took part in the major invasions in the Pacific Theatre, awarded nine battle strs, mar- ied to Barbara Sweeney; all the children are high school graduates. Mr. Capozzoli is member of Elks. Fond of all sports, lover of travel and music. His father was born in Agropoli, Salerno, Italy, came to U. S. in 1919, settling in East Boston, l'as shoe worker. CATALANO, DAVID-Born Montefalcione, Avellino, Italy, Oct. 15, 1878. Son of Giuseppe Catalano and Mariangela Mastoivio. Came to U. S. in 1903, lived in Boston. In Chelsea since 1915. Married Mary Iandosca of his native town, July 29, 1898. Children: Mary, married to Antonio Fuccillo; Joseph, proprietor of Spruce St. Garage of Chelsea; Ralph, married to Lucille Le May; Andrew, married to Phyllis Simonelli; Anthony, married to Jean Lipinsky; Patrick, Lt. U. S. Navy, in Pacific for over two years, took part in invasions of Bougainville and Entewake, awarded two battle stars; Jennie, graduate of Burdett College; George, and Aldine Gallant; and Lillian, graduate of Burdett College. All the children are graduates of Chelsea High. The boys are all associated with their brother Joseph, in the Spruce St. Garage. Res .: 69 Clinton St., Chelsea.
