S. in 1909, settling in Boston, where he engaged in the market business for ten years. In 1926 he opened his market business in Roslindale, now carried on by his wife. Was member of Order Sons of Italy and took deep interest in the welfare of his community. Married Josephine Capobianco of Somerville, Dec. 20, 1913. Children: Angelo, graduate of English High, veteran U. S. Army overseas, as airplane mechanic, has been awarded the Presidential Citation and Purple Heart for bravery; Pasqualina, is married to Joseph Nabreski; Mary, graduate of Roslindale High and Boston Clerical School, is married to Carl De Vasto of the U. TENOLI, LOUIS P .- Manufacturer. Born North Grafton, June 2, 1902. Son of John Tenoli and Mary Bonelli. Educated in public schools. In 1936 he became consulting engineer of the Clinton Planning Board for six years, and was instrumental in securing electrical rate reductions and sponsored other civic reforms. In 1940 he was elected Selectman and served for two terms. Was elected at same time member of Board of Public Welfare, later served as its chairman. Appeared in Washington before U. S. committee on small business and succeeded in establishment of small war plans corp., now a big factor throughout the U. S. Former candidate for State Senator and State Representative. Active in civic and political affairs. Staunch democrat. Member of K.C., and Liberty Club. His par- ents, born near Piacenza, Italy, came to U. S. in early 90's, were among the pioneer Italian settlers of Clinton. Returned to Italy at the age of 19 to serve in the Italian Army. Following his return to Boston, he married Flavia Sacca, Sept. 1895. Graduated from Cole Trade School in 1929; Pratt In- stitute in 1931; Mass. School of Optometry in 1934 and Philadelphia Optical College in 1940, O.D. Interne at American Optical Co., 1934-37; Pennsylvania State College of Optometry, extra mural courses for five years. In general practice in Worcester since 1938. Married Philippina De Angelis of Southbridge, Oct. 24, 1936. Children: Ada Mary and Arthur Stephen. Member: American Optometric Assoc .; K. C .; Italian American Associates and Italian American Professional and Businessmen's Club. Dr. Tieri is a former musician, leader of his band, plays the trumpet. Soloist in Sons of Italy band of Southbridge. His father was born in Bolognano, Piscara, Italy. Came to U. S. in 1902 settling in Southbridge. TINE, SEBASTIAN-Director of Boys' Work. Born Wakefield, May 20, 1915. Son of Salvatore Tine and Maria Penna. Graduated from Wake- field High School in 1938; Tufts College in 1942, B.A .; Tufts School of Religion in 1944. Director of boys' work at the North End Union of Boston since 1943. Married Matilda D'Orlando of Revere in 1939, a graduate of Boston University. One son, Harold Lee, born July 24, 1943. Father was born in Palazzuolo, Siracusa, Italy. Came to U. TINTI, CELSO-Proprietor, Tinti's Restaurant, 22 King St., No. Aga- wam. Famous from coast to coast. Born Calcara, Bologna, Italy, Nov. 10, 1886. Son of John Tinti and Filomena del Rio. Came to U. S. in 1912 and lived in Cape Cod. In the restaurant business in North Agawam since 1924, possessing one of the finest and most beautiful restaurants in the state, being an ultra air-conditioned establishment consisting of Floren- tine room and banquet hall seating 500. The artistic decorations illustrate the comfort of today's trend, picturing incidents associated with Florence, Italy, and its most famous food "spaghetti." The two mural tapestry, depict the origin of this food, while others are of troubadours and maidens. Mr. Tinti married Erminia Collari of Corpo di Reno, Ferrara, Italy, in 1911. Children: Corada, a graduate of Mass. State College, is married to Armando Solaroli, they have a son, Lance; Anne, a graduate of Ameri- can International College and attended Simmons College, is married to Joseph Casal, they have a daughter, Lynne; Tello, a graduate of Wilbra-
