Graduated from Eliot School in 1911, and attended the Normal Art School. During World War I he served in the U. S. Army and saw service in France. Was wounded, awarded the Purple Heart for bravery. U. S. Navy 1942-45, in the Pacific 18 months. Mr. Bozzo is member: Order Sons of Italy; K. C .; and National Association Stationery Engineering. His father fought under General Cadorna in the taking of Rome and for Italian Independence. BRACANI, JOHN RUDOLPH. Born Pretare, Ascoli Piceno, Italy, June 24, 1893.' Son of Pietro Bracani and Madalena Angelini. Educated here and abroad. Visited America in 1907 and again in 1909 settling in Leomin- ster, where he worked for DuPont and Co. Served in the Italian Army in 1915 and in the U. S. Army in 1917. Married the late Fiorigge, Colecchi, Oct. 20, 1923. One son, Pietro Francis, serving in U. S. Navy. Married second time to Dolores Nole of Fitchburg, July 4, 1938. Children: Made-' line, John Jr., and Rose Mary. Mr. Bracani has been in the service of DuPont deNemours Co. Inc., since 1927 as foreman, and considered out- standing in handling men and production. President of Saladini Club for five years; inner guard in the Elks and former vice-president of Eagles. His father came to America in 1899 settling in Leominster. Came to America in 1912 settling in Leominster. In the service of DuPont and Co. since 1912. Married Maria Piccolomini of Leominster, Nov. 22, 1924, a graduate of Leominster High School and attended M.I.T. of Boston. She is personnel manager at Great American Plastic Co. Mr. Bracani is member of Order Sons of Italy in America; Saladini Club; Italian American Citizen's Club; and former treasurer of the Italian Colonial Stores. Fond of bocce, baseball, bowling, travel and music. Active in civic and political affairs. Res .: 351 Lancester St., Leominster.
BRAICA ANTHONY J. M .- Restaurateur and realtor 85 Mechanic St., Marlboro. Born Marlboro, July 26, 1902. Son of Felice Braica and Rose De Simone. Graduated from Marlboro High. Attended St. Anselm Col- lege and Boston University School of Law. In business with his father since 1916. Member of St. Ann's Society. In High School he was member of football and track teams. In College he played on the varsity football team as right guard, later played semi-professional with Marlboro Tigers. Served in U. S. Army World War II. His father was born in Atena Lucana, Salerno, Italy. Came to U. S. in 1882 was among the pioneer Italian settlers of Marlboro, whose influence and leadership brought about the unity and the existence of St. Ann's Church.
