Brought up at Sant'Agata, Bologna, Italy, where he edited "Rompete le File" an anti- militaristic bi-monthly (1911-14). Mr. Felicani is the son of Torquato Feli- cani and Vittoria Casini. Educated in the Technical Schools in Italy. Came to U. S. in 1914. In the printing business since 1915. Settled in Boston in 1918. In charge of one of the finest Italo-American printing establishments in New England. Married Julia Marchetti in New York April 1, 1916. Children: Anteo, born July 11, 1918 and Arthur, born Dec. 6, 1923. Both graduates of Cambridge Latin High School and are associated with their father. Mr. Felicani figured prominently in the defense of Sacco and Van- zetti. Organized the defense committee and carried on the fight for seven years. In 1927 he with others published the "Lantern" for two years, a publication devoted against the danger of Fascism. Active in civic and political affairs. Editor of "Controcorrente" a monthly publication in Italian and in English since 1938. Res .: 132 Rindge Ave., Cambridge.
FELICIOTTI, IDA-Proprietress of Ida's Restaurant, 2 Mechanic St., Boston. Born Campagnano di Roma, Italy, Jan. 2, 1902. Daughter of Joseph Cesolini and Tulia Masci. Educated in the public school of her native town. Came to U. S. in 1925, settling in Boston. In restaurant business since 1938. Formerly proprietress of the Fashion Dress Shop of Cambridge. Married-has two children: Enio John, a graduate of English High and attended Boston University is in U. S. Navy Air Corps as radioman, a bom- bardier and radar; and Delia Mary, a graduate of Brighton High School, is associated with her mother. Her father came to U. S. in 1907 settling in Southbridge but soon returned to Italy. Had the following children: Ida; Caio; Vincenzo, Alvaro, August, and Albino. Res .: 29 Brainerd Rd., Allston.
FELLINI, FLORENCE (Mrs.)-Principal, Acushnet Ave. School of Springfield. Born Springfield, March 30, 1914. Daughter of William Scag- liarini and Ada Lodi. Graduated from Classical High in 1931 and Westfield State Teachers College in 1935, B.S.Ed. Graduate work at Columbia Uni- versity. Teacher in public schools of Springfield since 1937. Principal since 1941. Teacher of Italian, science and mathematics at Classical Jr. High for three years. Member of Elementary Division of the Board of Examiners. Member: Springfield Educational Assn., Elementary School Principals; Na- tional Education Assn., Mass. and Springfield Associations of Childhood Education; Westfield Alumni Assn .; Kalmia Honor Society, and Teachers Club. Married Frank J. Fellini of Long Island, N. Y., a graduate of New York University and of Columbia University engaged in field of recreation, now gunnery officer in U. S. Naval Reserves. Mrs. Fellini's father was born in San Matteo de Decimo, Bologna, Italy. Came to America in 1902 settling in Springfield, where he engaged as contractor with his brother-Anthony Scagliarini, who was among the first Italian American building contractors in Springfield. FEMINO, DOMENIC-Proprietor, Cleary Sq. Market, 1283 River St., Hyde Park, Boston. Born Salice, Messina, Italy, Jan. 10, 1895. Son of Giacomo Femino and Stefana Cardullo. Educated in elementary schools of his native town. Came to America in 1913 settling in Boston. In present business since 1933. Formerly in the grape business for 10 years, and in the meat business in Roxbury. Married Susie Maria Voce (daughter of Joseph Voce who manufactured cheese in Boston for over 40 years), Feb. 22, 1934. Children: James and Stella Marie. Mr. Femino's father had six children: Domenic, John (furniture mfg.), Theresa, Maria, Andrea, and Giacomo. His father died when Domenic was eleven years old, and the responsibility of keeping the family going fell largely on him. Hobby- hunting and music. Res .: 1353 River St., Hyde Park.
